His legs flail about as if independent from his body!

Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance is a mesmerizing blend of traditional and modern Celtic music and dance, a classic Irish folk tale of good versus evil, as well as a passionate love story that is expressed through exhilarating dance numbers. Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance is an experience for the whole family!!!!
I just copied and pasted that. But really, syb and I went to the Lord of the Dance on friday night. I asked for the tickets for christmas because I have always wanted to see it. Sure enough, these guys can tap their toes! It was for sure cheesy, but wildly entertaining.

This is us trying to document the event and not get too bored during the way long intermission.

Syb and I are a little bit younger than Flatley's typical fan base.

Fun Fact! Michael Flatley can tap the floor 35 times per second.

top drawer!!!! Best show I have ever seen. So aesthetically pleasing. I love you DeVotchKa! I did not stop smiling for the duration of this concert and for at least an hour or two after. I'm sorry about the phone pictures they are less than sufficient, I know.

love and doubt have never been on speaking terms.

I am warm on the inside and cold, nay, freezing on the outside! My favorite boots I love to wear every day are proving not grippy enough for the giant ice sheet that is utah now. I still love them. I saw Body Worlds 3 and it was so rad... I really recommend you all go see it before it goes away from Salt Lake! It is kind of a neat opportunity you know. Can it really be only 10 days until Christmas? Where in the world does the time go.

This picture is neat huh. It was like -4 degrees outside sunday morn and I think that it is so neat because of how white the sky is behind the beautiful temple!!! Music and the Spoken Word was so fun to go see. Edward Hermann was in it! AKA Richard Gilmore. AKA Grandpa. He was great and the story about the Longfellows was of course touching. It was definately a fun way to start off the sabbath and fill our hearts up with the spirit!!

I also very much enjoyed the spontaneous dance party and christmas shopping that took place saturday which I do not have pictures of. McKall and Chels that is a hint. FB? Thanks.

Big gulps huh? Welp see ya later.

let it be me.

DEAR RAY LAMONTAGNE,
I LOVE YOU.
I AM FOREVER GOING TO BE LOYAL TO YOU.
AND NOT MISS IT WHEN YOU COME TO SALT LAKE TO PLAY FOR ME AGAIN.
WHAT WAS I THINKING?
THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR GOD-GIVEN TALENT WITH ME AND THE WORLD.

other thoughts and concerns:

  • Garret, with his full beard and beanie, looked like a terrorist last night. Haha, I didn't tell him that though. If you read this gare, I'm sorry. But you have to kind of know it too.
  • Lynne and Jerry bought two framed art pieces from a woman named Hava today, who had dreds and was selling the art from her subaru. Yes, she was so dope.
  • Today, after I rocked the vote, I filled out a survey for a westminister student who looked like a Harajuku Lover.
  • Glen Turnipseed is a very unfortunate name, I think.
  • The commercial for Gossip Girl with Ms. Spears' new song playing forces me to love Chuck Bass.
  • I like my roommates. I always seem to be blessed with good roommates.
  • Christmas music time is here. If FM 100 can play it so can I.
  • Say I'm a bird! ..... I want to watch the notebook.

fun at the fair with the shifty-eyed carnie-folk.

Such a blast! I honestly don't know if I have ever had as much fun as I had last night at the fair. I love fairs and festivals alike, always. Ha! People watching was of course fantastic, the deep fried oreos were something straight out of heaven (although I don't recommend making them at home because then you will want them every day and have a big fat heart attack) ... and some of the cows were as big as a winnebago you guys!

I thought that this painted skull was really blog-worthy. I can't even paint on paper..
No I did not actually ride the ferris wheel pictured below.

We look awesome because we are colorado.

it's still rock n' roll to me.

Lagoon! after feeling jealous of the friends who attended Lagoon last weekend Brady Jill Gavin and I decided to go and have some fun of our own. We ran into the Feulners there too! (Including the Kishiyama-Feulners and the Anderson-Feulners) which was way neat that we all showed up at the same time on the same day... you know. What are the odds? I feel that pictures will show you more about the fun that was had than will my words so here they come.
This is irrelevant to the rest of the post but this mailbox is definately rock 'n roll. Right? I mean... it's a dragon!
My fanny pack is rock n' roll.
So are Jill and Gavin.
This ride : "The BAT" was not rock 'n roll. It was so lame! Here is the thing, we were so excited about it because it looks just like one they have a six flags that actually is rad. However, this lasted 20 seconds and there was like nothing about it. It didnt take us upside down really. It just took us on a quick ride in a circle. Ha. Oh well though! No wonder there was a short line....
This is us after the ride...Brady unsatisfied.
The swings are always so so grand! I want to buy my own one of these and put it in my backyard if i'm ever rich. If i'm not maybe i'll just use my imagination.
Jill's nose is pretty just take my word for it since it's blocked out of the picture.
JETSTAR.
All wearing vans, not previously planned. Great minds think alike. This was in line for the Rocket. We did both Blast Off and Re Entry and let me tell you. I think it's Re Entry where you sit at the top for like 8 seconds then drop.. I'm scared of it. Like really it FREAKS ME OUT! But i'll go on it again. I just might tinkle though.Jill trying to charm gavin into getting her a blue Icee. It didn't work. I gave her a bite of my churro though.

Me so strong! PS WICKED IS SO MUCH FUN! I wanted to go on it again and again. But the line was super long so we only did it once.

shakalaka boom! hey

whats up mtv cribs!
um. okay. so i really want to show you my dad's kitch. but since i haven't gotten around to taking some pictures of it and posting them because i don't know i would have to actually set aside time to do that just for this blog and i'm not really into that type of time wasting so i am just going to show you a picture of my brother IN the kitchen, try to pretend he isn't there! ;)

the coolest part of the kitchen-- the beverage center-- is not shown but oh well... just come over and get a drink sometime if you want to see it. i mean. yeah. anyway. cool right! and there are 2 sinks. not just one. so that's dank.

in other news. CLAP YOUR HANDS SAY YEAH tomorrow.

at the Gallivan center. would you like to come? it's free.. and my company is only a small fee. so yeah lets get more people in this mix! i figure we all ride trax so as many people as want to can come! i love their music, but even if you don't you will like the people watching.

trax ticket/2.00 concert/free experience/priceless

weddings, friends, and raspberry shakes make my world go round.

WHATS UP MTV CRIBS!
umm. sarah. you're not on cribs. -- i know. but cameron and his friend dillon are super funny and they pulled an allnighter and started sticking a camera in other friend hayden's face and kept asking him to say what's up mtv cribs and he wouldn't so they kept whipping him and telling him to say it and it's the funniest thing i have ever seen in my life. cameron, please put it on youtube or something so i can link it.

in regard to birthdays being holidays we HAD to take mckall out and make her look stupid for her birthday so chili's it was! we ate molten cake and had a blassty blast. and despues we got breaking dawn at midnight. i have to say that the whole going to the bookstore at 11:30 and sitting there til 2:30 really has lost it's charm and i don't think i will do it again. i am always so tired the next day that i don't hardly read anyway so what's the point. it was worth it for harry potter but not for twilight books. not that i don't love them. not at all. i do. i love them. breaking dawn kicked aaaa and i am so pleased with how it ended.yeah i don't know we just took these pictures and i think they are funnnnyyyyy.

bear fdaklfdjakfja83qw lake!!! the prettiest lake in the world. okay. lake powell and bear lake are both amazingly gorgeous but they are also very different and not comparable. this weekend there was blissful.
for katie's last night as a single woman we all went to see the sisterhood of the traveling pants! ohhhh myyy goosssshh... jessie williams pictured below is possibly the best choice i can think of for the last almost naked boy to see before you get married. sooo! hot! [i'm not a perve, if you haven't seen the movie let me explain that he is a model for figure drawing class in the movie]

oh. have i ever mentioned how cute my cousins are??? here is rebecca... i could just baby talk to her all day she is the funnest happiest baby!
ha and of course how can i catch you all up on events without news of more weddings?? i can't... because they keep coming one by one, another [four] bite the dust! congratulations to katie and chris hogue and candice and trevor nerdin who were sealed in the temple on august 7th! hoooraaay
