weddings, friends, and raspberry shakes make my world go round.

WHATS UP MTV CRIBS!
umm. sarah. you're not on cribs. -- i know. but cameron and his friend dillon are super funny and they pulled an allnighter and started sticking a camera in other friend hayden's face and kept asking him to say what's up mtv cribs and he wouldn't so they kept whipping him and telling him to say it and it's the funniest thing i have ever seen in my life. cameron, please put it on youtube or something so i can link it.

in regard to birthdays being holidays we HAD to take mckall out and make her look stupid for her birthday so chili's it was! we ate molten cake and had a blassty blast. and despues we got breaking dawn at midnight. i have to say that the whole going to the bookstore at 11:30 and sitting there til 2:30 really has lost it's charm and i don't think i will do it again. i am always so tired the next day that i don't hardly read anyway so what's the point. it was worth it for harry potter but not for twilight books. not that i don't love them. not at all. i do. i love them. breaking dawn kicked aaaa and i am so pleased with how it ended.yeah i don't know we just took these pictures and i think they are funnnnyyyyy.

bear fdaklfdjakfja83qw lake!!! the prettiest lake in the world. okay. lake powell and bear lake are both amazingly gorgeous but they are also very different and not comparable. this weekend there was blissful.
for katie's last night as a single woman we all went to see the sisterhood of the traveling pants! ohhhh myyy goosssshh... jessie williams pictured below is possibly the best choice i can think of for the last almost naked boy to see before you get married. sooo! hot! [i'm not a perve, if you haven't seen the movie let me explain that he is a model for figure drawing class in the movie]

oh. have i ever mentioned how cute my cousins are??? here is rebecca... i could just baby talk to her all day she is the funnest happiest baby!
ha and of course how can i catch you all up on events without news of more weddings?? i can't... because they keep coming one by one, another [four] bite the dust! congratulations to katie and chris hogue and candice and trevor nerdin who were sealed in the temple on august 7th! hoooraaay

I Love Lynnette!

I can hear my conscience rapping to me
It's like "Hey, you've only got one real friend
From the cradle, to the grave, and back again
with unconditional love"
That's my mother I'm speakin' of.

thanks, Insane Clown Posse for letting me borrow your words.
It's my mom Lynnette's birthday today. All moms are saints, am I right? I mean, they birth us. They carry us around for nine months while we kick their tummies. Then they carry us around in their arms for two more years, then we run away and they chase us around trying to make sure we stay alive and well! And then they go above and beyond by being not only moms but friends. I just wanted to take a minute and say how much I love and appreciate mine! She is always there for me when I need something, she is constantly helping me with anything and everything that she can and making sure that I am taken care of. I am going to list some things she does that make her so great! They can be either huge things or small seemingly insignificant things that she doesn't even know she's doing.
  • Loving me unconditionally. It's probably hard!
  • Being good at math, and being willing to help me with it every time I need help with my homework. (i.e. every day of last semester, and years past of math classes)
  • Making pretty dresses for me for numerous occasions.
  • Making bum cookies.
  • Driving me everywhere until I was 17 when I finally got licensed.
  • Giving me food or money for food when I have spent my paycheck on clothes and am starving.
  • Taking me to church and teaching me about the gospel!
  • Sending me text messages like the one today "When you have a baby don't name her candyll it's too much like candle. yuck."
  • Hiding candy in drawers throughout the house... mom you don't know it but I eat it too!
  • Being a tough cookie.
  • Handing down the traits of being clumsy, shredding all my food with my hands, and not being able to sit still ever.
  • Letting me be DJ in your car.
  • Calling me or coming down to my room if I am at your house and singing "You are my sunshine" to wake me up. I know I yell and sometimes throw my angels bear at you but I really don't mean it.

Mom! I love you so much and I hope that you know how amazing you are.

Totem Spirit Fox...

My little brother is an eagle scout! Muy impressive broosky. I love you and I am so proud. You are officially the better child.
Not being on eagle scout behavior. Cam, you could be a park ranger in this outfit.

Papa is always camera shy. This was on the hike up to where we widened the trail in corner canyon!

It turns out that I don't hate hiking like I have convinced myself for so many years. I was thoroughly happy after this hike and decided that I want to go out into nature more often. Endorphins make you happy, and happy people just don't shoot their husbands.

High school boys are funny and I was priveleged enough to spend the morning hours with these strapping young gents. I have to hand it to them, for being 18 years old and boys (put the two together and usually the combination is atrocious) they are all super nice to have come out at 8 AM to help brother with his project!

They entertained themselves by shedding layers, even though it was a crisp 40 degrees.
I entertained myself by jumping in and actually McClouding some shiz.
