happy fourth ya'll

I am feeling very patriotic today. I am going to try making these - the winning recipe from the Pillsbury Bake-Off this year. They look so good right? And kind of patriotic too hopefully? There is raspberry jam hiding in there too guys.... Anyway I really do feel so lucky to live in the United States of America. It is so common to hear the complaints and criticisms about our government and how things are going right now but I really feel like, though no government or country can be perfect, it can still be great. My list of reasons why I love America.

I can worship how I feel it is right, and so can everyone else.
I can read whatever book I want.
I can have an "I love Tina Fey" themed party. (who wants to come?)
I can Google.
I can say the lines along with Wayne's World while I watch it.
I can say anything, and write anything on this blog, or out on my roof for the world to hear, and no one could stop me.
I can drink as much DDP as I want.
I can live happily with other people that are night and day different from me.
I can go to school and learn about History of Rock N' Roll.
I can vote on who I want to be making decisions on behalf of me.
I can wear jeans, a dress, or sweat pants depending on how I feel that day.
I can kiss my husband in public.
I can dance in a parking lot to Sir Mix a Lot or Earth Wind & Fire.
I CAN.

THIS IS FREEDOM guys! Not everyone enjoys it. Even in today's world it is not this way some places. I am proud to be American!
