you're the one that i want.

So, I freaking love Grease. Who doesn't right? One of the songs from this movie came on at the bowling alley tonight and this thought occurred to me. It's kind of sad that at the end of the movie cute, virtuous Sandy has to throw her standards out la ventana to win Danny over. He did try to turn clean but when she showed up with that cigarette it was all over. I mean, it's a great movie, but not so great a message. Am I right? Is this super nerdy of me? Don't answer that.

i grew up watching grease. it was probably my favorite movie. i didnt even see the negative message when i was younger, only when i talked to other people later in life did i realize how crappy the end is! i try not to dwell on it and still love the movie. haha.
