Here is a little eye candy for you kids. Those balloons are the best. I want to make a balloon arch someday like Adrienne did once. I never saw it but it just sounds like fun.
Yesterday we attempted the waffle iron brownies and they worked, sort of. We still have a few little details to iron out but soon we will have that party!
If you know me, you know I have attempted to make fancy birthday cakes before, and you know that the frosting parts did not go so well! I dream of someday making cakes as beautiful as those shown above. How much sweet satisfaction that would bring!
Wedding season is here. Syb's was beautiful and so much fun. There will be many more to come. I love spring and I finally feel like it is spring. Last post about spring fever was a false alarm. This time it is real- it is here, allergies and all! Yussss. Only problem now is the whole clean-out-the-closets-get-rid-of-the-clutter-oh!-should-I-start-the-flower-pot-i-wanted-to-try-there-is-laundry-to-be-folded-hey!-does-that-window-need-cleaning-air-out-the-curtains sort of mood. I feel like a squirrel on a caffeine high, skittering between task to task, caught just between busy and absurdly frantic wanting to spruce everything and decorate and buy buy buy house stuff and I don't have my own house or any dollar bills....and I still have a final to study for and other more fun things I want to do at the same time. Ha! I love spring. Oh, and how rad are those wedding pics? Mustaches? That is so funny! I love people.
