singin' seems to help a troubled soul.

Hey! Whats up guys? I have absolutely no news or even neat things to say! But I'm going to just shout hello to you all cause I feel like it. Adrienne I think you should make a photography blog or just put some more of your stuff up on your blog cause I never even see what you do and I want to. Any of the rest of you if you have a hobby or talent or career that I don't know about please stand up. Did you guys know that I am going to see Stepbrothers tonight? Will Ferrell reigns supreme. I have been watching the trailer and laughing since January and I am not going to let anything stop me from seeing it!!! Okay. Good. If you want to come let me know. I am so grateful Cassidy you are coming back here. Can we play? Please and Thank You! And don't leave me again or I will not be so forgiving. I have been scanning a lot of old pictures lately on account of I found a bunch of old photos that should be preserved in the same week that we got a new scanner from our good friends at Best Buy because Lynne and Jer' buy a new computer like every six months. Then the brothers play warcraft on it, Brandee downloads all kinds of retarded disney channel crap, we get viruses and the cycle begins again. Beautiful. The point about this story is that you can look forward to some posts with memories of my mischievous babyhood and documentation that my brother really might be a girl. You know you love me, XOXO Gossip Girl.

because i have to.

If you had asked me in the last four years if I liked John Mayer my reply would be "I saw him in concert once but 'eh. He's respectable but not my style." Now I have seen John Mayer twice and I love him! Yes, he is a douche bag when it comes to his relationships with women. (Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston) I know this because of the righteous amount of celebrity gossip my friends, stepmom and I pay attention to. But John Mayer on stage!!!! Guitarist. Named one of the three best guitarists of our time along with John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Derek Trucks. I feel like seeing him live is a must because his albums though they are great don't really suffice. I was so entertained for the whole 2 hours and I would feel content listening to that every day of my life. He played a lot of blues, eric clapton, etc. which I have to appreciate. I love the blues. I might dare to say that his cover of Tom Petty's Free Fallin' was as good as the original. So, I can't ignore how amazing he was and I had to write it down for you to read.

supdate

Sho. I went to a rodeo!

I saw Batman - excellent. violent. dark. but good.

I saw fireworks FINALLY and plan to again on Thursday.

I tried Thai food and I love it.

I pitched a tent and tried but couldn't sleep in it. Here is my take on why sleeping outdoors in the suburbs sucks : Dogs bark. Roosters cockadoodledoo (at least the one by my house does.) Sprinklers turn on and off on and off all night. People drive fast and screech to halts. Did I mention sprinklers spray you in the face? Yeah. Oh and last but not least knowing your bed is just 30 feet away is not motivation to stay outside at 3:30 am.

Well! Not my best weekend even though it sounds awesome it kind of wasn't but I'd rather trust and be proven wrong than be too suspicious and ruin chances.. being in love is far too rewarding for anyone to avoid romantic relationships, just to skirt a case of the blues.

Oh. I didn't mention that tonight I have a date with a 17 year old. Haha Cams best friend Hayden will be taking me to John Mayer so thats pretty awesome cause he didn't have a date to double with Cam/Sam so I said take me and woo! It worked. It will be lots of fun the only thing I don't look forward to is the traffic jam we will inevitably be stuck in.

never laughed so much

"those kind of shirts remind me of those kind of kids that read animorphs" /syb.

i stay flossin...

i indeed did have a brush with death last week. as you can see from this picture i got stuck in an unnatural and uncomfortable place on the freeway. backwards. read about it here on adge's blog.we still went to the market! and it was so dank nasty. adrienne had some thai food that i coveted but my argentine empanada was still not bad. we got neat magnets and after the market we went to broadway and window shopped at all the neat antique shops. while there we ran into jovi he was skateboarding down the road. small world! the lemonade. next! monday morning syb flew in from hi and we got in the car and drove to lake powell. the greatest and most pleasurable place on this earth! this is us at the beaver texaco. this is the girls on top the houseboat. it was stormy and so beautiful!
found the giant rockingchair! go beaver valley. i was actually a little bit disappointed in its size because i imagined it a lot bigger and syb took the liberty of telling the guy that worked there that and he kind of just grimaced and i laughed and walked away feeling kind of sheepish.
court. this is for you! beautiful huh! i am no pro at photography though.

she knows everything will turn out how it should.

  • I went to the car show.
  • I walked barefoot to the park.
  • I received a real swiss chocolate bar.
  • I watched The Motorcycle Diaries.
  • I went to Rita's Panaderia.
  • I went to Rancho Markets.
  • I was a minority.
  • I listened and for that couldn't hear. It was worth it.
  • I didn't get to fun tube.
  • I saw lovewings and mullets.
  • I heard testimonies.
  • I saw London, I didn't see France.
  • I loved Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
  • I laughed at Hancock.

Best weekend ever had. It was historical and not because it was the 4th of July. All the little things really add up to make life enjoyful! SCRUMTRILESCENT, haha. Here is a little gem that inspired me today. I love it and want to share it with you all.

"You have a choice. You can wring your hands and be consumed with concern for the future or choose to use the counsel the Lord has given to live with peace and happiness in a world awash with evil. If you choose to concentrate on the dark side, this is what you will see. . . . Now the brighter side. Despite pockets of evil, the world overall is majestically beautiful, filled with many good and sincere people. God has provided a way to live in this world and not be contaminated by the degrading pressures evil agents spread throughout it. You can live a virtuous, productive, righteous life by following the plan of protection created by your Father in Heaven: His plan of happiness."
Richard G. Scott, "How to Live Well amid Increasing Evil," Ensign, May 2004, 100
